Presenting myself well is one of my goals

Each day, I experience chances to show the world who I am. I recognize that how I behave determines how others view me and I care very much about how I appear.

Many opportunities to illustrate the kind of person I am occur at my place of work. Sometimes I wonder if others perceive all my positive qualities, so I watch how my co-workers and supervisor demonstrate theirs. I watch and learn so that I can present myself in the best light possible.

I strive to reveal how intelligent, hard-working, and responsible I am.

The older I get, the more I recognize my positive characteristics. When I discover something good about myself, I endeavor to show that particular part of me to others in appropriate ways.

I want to make positive impressions and be viewed with integrity.

Today, I consider how my behavior can help me present myself well to others. Although I realize that first impressions are important, I also believe that each time I am with someone, I have another chance to show them the kind of person I am.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. Do I present myself well to others?

2. How does my behavior give others positive impressions?

3. What strategies can I use to improve how I present myself to others?
